Authority for the TRICARE Program is Title 32 to the Code of Federal Regulations Part 199 (32 CFR 199). Please note that CHAMPUS Regulation DoD 6010.8R has been ELIMINATED.
The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is a codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the Executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government, including policies and procedures published by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) on the delivery of health care.

The official CFR is located online at the GPO website and is a joint project authorized by the publisher, the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of the Federal Register, and the Government Printing Office (GPO).
The December 1, 2016 edition of the 32 CFR 199 (DHA Version) is available online. This edition supersedes the April 12, 2005 edition. All changes to the April 12, 2005 edition (through Change 74 dated November 2, 2016) have been incorporated.
